''Chiquilladas'' is a Mexican sketch and musical show that used only children as actors. First aired on Mexican television in 1982, it ran until 1993. During its run it was the first to showcase various Mexican artists including Carlos Espejel, Pierre Angelo, Aleks Syntek, Lucero and Anahí. Characters During its run, it portrayed various characters and sketches that appeared in various broadcasts. Carlinflas (portrayed by Carlos Espejel) Was a kid impersonation from famous comedy character Cantinflas. Chiquidrácula (Carlos Espejel) A comedy version of Bela Lugosi's ''Dracula'', who tried repeatedly to give other kids "meyo" (a corruption of word "miedo", fright). Pierre Angelo
Pierre Angelo Antonioli Flores (born September 24, 1972) is a Mexican actor, director and humorist. He was first known for his role in the kids 80's show Chiquilladas, which launched his career into the comedy world within Mexican television, theater, movies, among others. His TV career includes several acclaimed TV shows, such as:Libre para amarte (2013), Pierre Notas (2008-2010), Parodiando (2012), La familia P. Aleks Syntek
Raúl Alejandro Escajadillo Peña (born 29 September 1969), known by his stage name, Aleks Syntek, is a Mexican singer and songwriter. He has earned nine nominations for the Latin Grammy Awards, a Grammy nomination, five nominations for the MTV Latin Awards, and is the winner of three Latin ''Billboard'' awards. He has also received an Ariel award from the Cinametografia Mexican Academy for Best Film Music. As a performer and singer Syntek has released 10 albums receiving Gold and Platinum disc awards for high sales. Anahí Giovanna Puente Portilla (born 14 May 1983), known mononymously as Anahí, is a Mexican actress and singer. In 1986, she started her acting career when she was cast on ''Chiquilladas''. Carlos Espejel Leguizano (born April 21, 1972) is a Mexican telenovela actor and comedian, best known for his roles as "Chiquidrácula" (1982–1987) and "Carlinflas" (1982–2006). Premios TVyNovelas
The Premios TVyNovelas are presented annually by Televisa and the magazine TVyNovelas to honor the best Mexican television productions, including telenovelas. Instituted in 1983, the award ceremony rotates between Mexico City and Acapulco. The ceremony is broadcast through Canal de las Estrellas in Mexico and Latin America, and Univision in the United States.
