Annetta is a town in Parker County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,288 at the 2010 census. The town is named after the daughter of the founder of the town, a Mr. Fraser who built a station and general store in the area in the mid-1870s. Geography Annetta is located at (32.697574, –97.654333). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , of which, of it is land and of it (2.25%) is water. Don Chipp
Donald Leslie Chipp, AO (21 August 192528 August 2006) was an Australian politician who was the inaugural leader of the Australian Democrats, leading the party from 1977 to 1986. He began his career as a member of the Liberal Party, winning election to the House of Representatives in 1960 and serving as a government minister for a cumulative total of six years. Chipp left the Liberals in 1977 and was soon persuaded to lead a new party, the Democrats who, he famously proclaimed in 1980, would "keep the bastards honest". He was elected to the Senate on 10 December 1977 and led the party at four federal elections. From 1983 it held the sole balance of power in the Senate. Edmund Chipp
Edmund Thomas Chipp (25 December 1823 – 17 December 1886) was an English organist and composer. His compositions were principally church organ music and oratorios. Life and career Chipp was born in London on Christmas Day, 25 December 1823. He was the eldest son of musician (Thomas) Paul Chipp(1793–1870) harpist, principal drummer of his day and chorister of the Chapel Royal, Whitehall. He was educatedStephen, 1887, page 258 in the Chapel Royal as a chorister, and later became a member of William IV's and then Queen Victoria's private band. He was a Chorister of the Chapel Royal under William Hawes from the age of seven until he was 17. On 28 June 1838 Chipp sang at the coronation of Queen Victoria. Chipp studied the organ under George Cooper (organist at St Paul's Cathedral and St. James's Palace d.1838), and violin. Herbert Chipp (4 January 1850 – 25 August 1903) was an English tennis player. He was a Wimbledon singles and doubles semi finalist and won four career titles. He later became Honorary Secretary of the Lawn Tennis Association. Career Chipp played his first tournament in 1881 at the Hamsptead Cricket Club tennis tournament. Chipp participated in the Wimbledon Championships between 1882 and 1900. In 1883 he reached his first tournament final at Redhill losing to Leopold Maxse in 3 sets. In 1884 he reached the semifinals of the all-comers competition, which he lost to Herbert Lawford 5–7, 4–6, 4–6. In 1885 he won the Middlesex Championships defeating Donald Charles Stewart in 3 sets. and then reached the final of Acton Vale tournament before losing to Ernest Wool Lewis.
