Chinese Language In Australia
The Chinese language is the second-most spoken language in Australia. Australia has more Chinese people per capita than any other country outside Asia. In the 2021 census, 1,390,693 Australians identified themselves as being of Chinese ancestry, representing 5.5% of the national population. In the same census, 980,555 Australians indicated that they mainly spoke either Mandarin or Cantonese at home, representing 4.0% of the national population, making it the second-most spoken language in Australia after English. The Chinese language is an important part of the Chinese Australian identity. Education Chinese is a widely taught second language in Australian schools, and is one of the languages mentioned in the Australian Curriculum. Fortitude Valley Railway Station
Fortitude Valley railway station is located on the North Coast railway line, Queensland, North Coast line in Queensland, Australia. Located beneath the Valley Metro complex, it serves the central Brisbane suburb of Fortitude Valley. The station is one of four inner city stations that form a core corridor through the centre of Brisbane. Pedestrian access to the station is via two thoroughfares near the corner of Brunswick Street, Brisbane, Brunswick and Wickham Streets and a pedestrian overpass connecting to McWhirters. There is also a lesser known entrance through the car park at the Northern side of the station, both out to Alfred Street in the West and Alden Street in the east, the latter through a secluded lift in the eastern side of the car parking complex.
