China Railway CR200J
The CR200J Fuxing ( zh, s=复兴号, p=Fùxīng Hào "Rejuvenation") is a Chinese higher-speed trainset consisting of a power car paired with unpowered passenger cars operated by China Railway. It is the slowest member of the Fuxing series. The train was jointly designed and produced by six companies under CRRC. These units are nicknamed ''Green EMUs'' or ''Hulk'' by the Chinese media due to its appearance. Design and development The development of CR200J is initiated by China Railway Corporation to create an affordable, economical, efficient higher-speed rail. The development started on 28 August 2015. First prototype started testing on 27 April 2017. Multiple trainset was sent to China Railway Chengdu Group for dynamic test on Chengdu–Chongqing railway, Chongqing–Lanzhou railway, and Chongqing–Guiyang high-speed railway between 17 December 2017 and 4 January 2018. Beijing Railway Station
Beijing railway station (), or simply Beijing station (), is a passenger railway station in Dongcheng District, Beijing. The station is located just southeast of the city centre inside the Second Ring Road with Beijing Station Street to the north and the remnants of the city wall between Chongwenmen and Dongbianmen to the south. The Beijing railway station opened in 1959 and was the largest train station in China at the time. Though superseded by the larger Beijing West and Beijing South stations, this station remains the only one located inside the old walled city. Trains entering and leaving the station pass by the Dongbianmen corner tower. With gilded eaves and soaring clock towers, the architecture of the railway blends traditional Chinese and socialist realist influence. CTCS
The Chinese Train Control System (CTCS, ''simpl.chinese:'' 中国列车控制系统) is a train control system used on railway lines in People's Republic of China. CTCS is similar to the European Train Control System (ETCS). It has two subsystems: ground subsystem and onboard subsystem. The ground subsystem may based on balise, track circuit, radio communication network (GSM-R), and Radio Block Center (RBC). The onboard subsystem includes onboard computer and communication module. CTCS Levels There consists of 5 different levels (Level 0 to Level 5). Levels 2, 3, and 4 are back-compatible with lower levels. Dongguan East Railway Station
Dongguandong (Dongguan East) railway station serves the city of Dongguan in Guangdong province, China. It is located in Dongguan's Changping Town. The station is configured in an east-west alignment. Trains departing to the east continue along the Beijing–Kowloon railway towards Beijing. To the west, there is a junction where the Beijing–Kowloon railway merges with the Guangzhou–Shenzhen railway. Beijingnan (Beijing South) railway station () is a large railway station (mainly serving high speed trains) in Fengtai District, Beijing, about south of central Beijing, between the 2nd and 3rd ring roads. The station in its present form opened on 1 August 2008 and replaced the old Beijing South station, originally known as Majiapu railway station and later renamed Yongdingmen railway station, which stood 500 metres away. The terms green-skinned train and green train ( zh, s=绿皮车, p=lǜpíchē, l=green skin carriage) refer to a type of design which used to be the mainstay of the passenger railway fleets of China and other communist countries during the Cold War. These words carry connotations of slow travel on old vehicles with few amenities, most notably lacking air conditioning. Despite these connotations, some newer trains have been painted green for nostalgic purposes. Chengdu–Chongqing Railway
Chengdu–Chongqing railway or Chengyu railway (), is a single-track electrified railroad in the Sichuan Basin of Southwest China between the cities Chengdu and Chongqing. Chongqing's short form name is Yu (渝) and the railway is named after the two cities. The line has a total length of . The Chengyu railway opened in 1952 and was the first railway to be built after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
