China Lake (film)
''China Lake'' is a 1983 psychological thriller film starring Charles Napier as a deranged police officer who rides around on a motorbike "targeting" people that have offended him in some way while vacationing near the film's titular location of China Lake. The short film was directed by Robert Harmon, who funded this movie personally to promote himself as a director. In 1990, the film was made into a feature-length made-for-TV movie titled ''The China Lake Murders'', which is considered to be a remake of this film rather than an actual sequel. Robert Harmon
Robert Harmon (born 1953) is an American film and television director. He is best known for the 1986 horror film '' The Hitcher'', starring Rutger Hauer, as well as for films like ''They'' and '' Nowhere to Run''. His television work is distinguished by the series of made-for-TV movies featuring fictional Paradise (Mass.) Zach Staenberg
Zach S. Staenberg, A.C.E. (born August 1951) is an American film editor best known for his work on action films and the ''Matrix Trilogy''. Staenberg won an Academy Award and two ACE Eddie Award for the editing of ''The Matrix'' (1999) and for HBO's '' Gotti'' (1996) for which he was also nominated for an Emmy. Charles Napier (actor)
Charles Lewis Napier (April 12, 1936 – October 5, 2011) was an American character actor known for playing supporting and occasional leading roles in television and films. He was frequently cast as police officers, soldiers, or authority figures, many of them villainous or corrupt. After leaving his Kentucky hometown to serve in the Army, he graduated from college and worked as a sports coach and art teacher before settling on acting as a career. Napier established himself in character roles and worked steadily for the next 35 years. William Sanderson (born January 10, 1944) is an American retired actor. He played J. F. Sebastian in the feature film ''Blade Runner'' (1982), and had regular roles on several television series such as Larry on ''Newhart'' (1982–1990), E. B. Mickey Jones (June 10, 1941 – February 7, 2018) was an American musician and actor. He played drums with acts such as Trini Lopez and Bob Dylan, with whom he played on his 1966 world tour.
