China Administration Of Sports For Persons With Disabilities
The China Administration of Sports for Persons with Disabilities (CASPD, zh, 中国残疾人体育运动管理中心) is a public institution of the Central Government of China, and is affiliated with the China Disabled Persons' Federation (CDPF). It is estimated that there are 85 million people with disabilities in China. The CASPD is responsible for the administration of disability sports in China. Its work includes developing sporting standards, carrying out sports research, undertaking sports drug testing, and directing sports training programs. It also manages the China Disability Sports Training Centre (CDSTC) in Beijing. China Disability Sports Training Centre The CDSTC opened on 28 June 2007. Liu Fuliang
Liu Fuliang (born 16 November 1985) is a Paralympian athlete from China competing mainly in T46 classification track and field events. Liu represented his country at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, where he competed in three events, the 100 metre relay and his favoured long jump and triple jump. He finished on the podium in all three events, taking the gold medal in both the jump events and was part of the Chinese relay team that took the silver medal. As well as Paralympic success, Liu dominated both the long jump and triple jump events in the T46/47 classification at the World Championships between the Games in London and Rio. He took the gold medal in both the events in the 2013 World Championships in Lyon, and repeated this feat at the 2015 Championship in Doha. Gao Mingjie (; born November 23, 1980, in Shangri-La City) is a Paralympian athlete from China competing mainly in category F42–44 javelin throw events. Gao competed in the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, Greece and won a silver medal in the men's F44–46 javelin throw event. At the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China he won a gold medal in the men's F42–44 javelin throw event. Wang Yanzhang (born 31 May 1991) is a Paralympian athlete from China competing mainly in F34 classification throwing events. Athletics career Wang represented China at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, entering the shot put, javelin throw and discus throw events. He finished eighth in the shot put, but finished on the podium in both the javelin and discus, winning silver and gold respectively. As well as his Paralympic success Wang has won medals at the World Championships winning two silvers at the 2013 Games in Lyon, and in the 2015 Games in Doha he won gold in both the javelin and discus.
