"Children of the Sky" (a ''Starfield'' song), or simply "Children of the Sky", is a song by American rock band Imagine Dragons released as the soundtrack song for the Bethesda video game ''Starfield''. It was released through Interscope Records and Kidinakorner on August 30, 2023. It is the fourth song by the band based on a video game following "Warriors" for the 2014 ''League of Legends'' World Championship, "Monster" for ''Infinity Blade III'', and " Enemy" featuring JID for ''Arcane''. The song is featured on the Japanese edition of the band's sixth studio album ''Loom''. Background and composition "Children of the Sky" was written by Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, Mattias Larsson, Robin Fredriksson, and Inon Zur. Daniel James Platzman (born September 28, 1986) is an American musician, songwriter, record producer and composer. He is the drummer for the pop rock band Imagine Dragons. Early life Platzman was born on September 28, 1986 in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Berklee College of Music where he earned a degree in film scoring. While at Berklee, Platzman played in the Berklee Concert Jazz Orchestra, the Urban Outreach Jazz Orchestra and the Berklee Rainbow Big Band, and received the Vic Firth Award for Outstanding Musicianship and the Michael Rendish Award in Film Scoring. Șerban Ghenea (born October 13, 1969) is a Grammy award-winning Romanian-Canadian audio engineer and mixer. Early life and education Ghenea was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1969.
