Chika Yoshida
is a former Japanese pop singer and songwriter under the Giza Studio label. Biography Before debuting on August 2000, Chika appeared as a guest of the live session ''Undown Presents'' in Kyoto Jittoku. On September 2000, she debuted with the single ''Koubutsu'' written and produced by Chika herself. It was released as both a CD and a cassette tape. The single reached #70 on the Oricon weekly chart, with over 2,500 copies sold. Some fans called her ''Giza version of Shiina Ringo'' due to similar melody and voice styles. Her fourth single ''Aishini kite Hoshii/Gamusharana Ai'' was written by a former member of the Japanese band Pamelah (band), Masazumi Ozawa and Makoto Miyoshi from Rumania Montevideo. Between April and June 2001, she was the main DJ on the radio program ''Liberal Flower'' which was broadcast at FM Kyoto. Yura Yura Teikoku
was a three-piece Japanese rock band from Tokyo, formed in 1989. Part of the city's underground music scene centered in Kōenji, their music has an eclectic sound usually described as psychedelic rock. After 21 years playing together, Yura Yura Teikoku amicably broke up in 2010. History Yura Yura Teikoku was formed in 1989 with drummer Atsushi Yoshida and vocalist/guitarist Shintaro Sakamoto as leader, bassist Chiyo Kamekawa and a succession of other members. Drummer Ichiro Shibata joined in 1997 to form the current lineup, and the trio soon signed with Midi Records. The band released five studio albums, one live recording album and two greatest hits albums on Midi. Thee Headcoats was a band formed in Chatham, Kent, England in 1989, that was well known for its garage rock sound, explicitly sticking to this style on almost all of their albums. The band's signature sound as well as their prolific writing has been attributed to Billy Childish's love of simple, direct recording. The band has been on multiple labels including Billy's own Hangman Records, Damaged Goods and Sub Pop. The band played their final concert on 12 May 2000 at the Dirty Water Club. Childish went on to play with other bands including The Buff Medways (1999 to 2006) and The Musicians of The British Empire (2007 to 2011). Garnet Crow (stylized as GARNET CROW) was a Japanese pop/rock band formed in 1999 and associated with the Giza Studio record label. Members include Yuri Nakamura, Hitoshi Okamoto, Nana Azuki, and Hirohito Furui, with Nakamura leading on vocals. Music produced by Garnet Crow has its roots in the neo acoustic genre, and representative works include "Flying", "Yume Mita Ato De", and "Spiral". Despite prolific early singles, the band neither performed live nor appeared on TV prior to 2002. The mixed composition of Garnet Crow and Nakamura's deep vocals set the group apart from its contemporaries.
