Chiho Takao
(born February 20, 1984, in Nerima, Tokyo) is a Japanese freestyle skier, specializing in slopestyle. Takao competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics for Japan. She placed 22nd in the qualifying round in the slopestyle, failing to advance. As of April 2014, her best showing at the World Championships is 14th, in the 2013 slopestyle. Takao made her World Cup debut in February 2012. FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup
The FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup is an annual freestyle skiing competition arranged by the International Ski Federation since 1980. Currently six disciplines are included in world cup: moguls, aerials, ski cross, halfpipe, slopestyle and big air. In the 1980s and 1990s there were also ski ballet and combined, which no longer exist. Races are hosted primarily at ski resorts in North America, the Alps in Europe, with regular stops in Scandinavia, east Asia, but a few races have also been held in the Southern Hemisphere. FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships 2013
The 2013 FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships were held at Voss, Norway from March 5–10, 2013. Voss was acclaimed as the host in May 2008 as no other bids were received. Skiers competed in six disciplines: Moguls, Dual Moguls, Ski Cross, Slopestyle, Half Pipe and Aerials. These were the first FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships held in Norway.
