Chiedza Dhururu
Chiedza Dhururu (born 4 January 1996) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who plays for the Zimbabwe women's national cricket team. In January 2019, Dhururu was named in Zimbabwe's Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) squad for their five-match series against Namibia. The matches were the first WT20I matches to be played by Zimbabwe since the International Cricket Council (ICC) awarded WT20I status to all of its members in July 2018. Dhururu did not play in the series against Namibia, but she was selected for the 2019 ICC Women's Qualifier Africa tournament in May 2019. She made her WT20I debut on 5 May 2019, for Zimbabwe against Mozambique. In October 2021, Dhururu was named in Zimbabwe's Women's One Day International (WODI) squad for their four-match series against Ireland. Wicket-keeper
The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises. The wicket-keeper is the only member of the fielding side permitted to wear gloves and external leg guards. The role of the keeper is governed by Law 27 of the Laws of Cricket. Ireland Women's Cricket Team In Zimbabwe In 2021–22
The Ireland women's cricket team played four Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) against the Zimbabwe women's cricket team in October 2021. The matches were used by both teams for their preparation for the 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament, also in Zimbabwe. They were the first WODI matches to be played by Ireland since June 2018, when they hosted New Zealand, and the first ever WODI matches to be played by Zimbabwe since they were granted WODI status by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in April 2021. 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier
The 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier was an international women's cricket tournament that was held in Zimbabwe in November and December 2021. The tournament was the final part of the qualification process for the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup. All of the regional qualification tournaments used the Women's Twenty20 International format. The tournament was the fifth edition of the World Cup Qualifier, with the fixtures played as 50 overs matches. Originally, the top three teams from the qualifier would have progressed to the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. The top three teams, along with the next two best placed teams, also qualified for the next cycle of the ICC Women's Championship. Ireland Women's Cricket Team
The Ireland women's cricket team represents Ireland in international women's cricket. Cricket in Ireland is governed by Cricket Ireland and organised on an All-Ireland basis, meaning the Irish women's team represents both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Ireland made its One-Day International (ODI) debut in 1987, against Australia, and the following year played at the 1988 World Cup, making the first of five appearances at the tournament. Mozambique Women's National Cricket Team
The Mozambique women's national cricket team represents the country of Mozambique in women's cricket matches. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Mozambique women and another international side since 1 July 2018 have been full WT20I matches. Tuskers Women's Cricket Team
The Tuskers women's cricket team is a Zimbabwean women's cricket team based in Bulawayo. They compete in the Fifty50 Challenge and the Women's T20 Cup. History The team were formed in 2020, to compete in Zimbabwe's two new women's domestic competitions: the Fifty50 Challenge and the Women's T20 Cup. In the Fifty50 Challenge, the side finished bottom of the group, with one win from their six matches. The 2019 ICC Women's Qualifier Africa was a cricket tournament that was held in Zimbabwe in May 2019. The matches in the tournament were played as Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), with the top team progressing to both the 2019 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier and the 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournaments.
