Chiara Tamburlini
Chiara Tamburlini (born 2 December 1999) is a Swiss professional golfer and Ladies European Tour player. As an amateur, she won the 2021 NCAA Championship with Ole Miss. Amateur career Tamburlini had success as an amateur and won the 2015 Swiss National Junior Championship, the 2017 Austrian International Amateur, and the 2021 Swiss Golf Open Championship. In 2016, she was runner-up at the Omnium Swiss National Strokeplay, Swiss International Ladies Championship and the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters in England. In 2020, she was runner-up at the Memorial Olivier Barras. She was member of the Swiss National Team and appeared in three European Girls' Team Championships and four European Ladies' Team Championships. She has also represented Switzerland in the World Amateur Team Championships, the 2022 Espirito Santo Trophy at Le Golf National in France. The 2023 LET Access Series is a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from March through October 2023 across Europe. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup
The 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup was a team golf competition to be held from 1–3 July 2022 at Golf Club de Genève, Vandœuvres, Switzerland. It was the 26th time the event had been contested and the fifth under the new format in which women golfers play in addition to men, and the United States plays an international team. The international team won the match 33–27. Format The contest was played over three days. On Friday, there were 12 mixed four-ball matches. On Saturday there were 24 foursomes matches, 12 in the morning, six all-women matches and six all-men matches, and 12 mixed matches in the afternoon. 24 singles matches were played on Sunday. In all, 60 matches were played. Each of the 60 matches was worth one point in the larger team competition. Espirito Santo Trophy
The Espirito Santo Trophy (World Women's Amateur Team Championships) is a biennial world amateur team golf championship for women organised by the International Golf Federation. The inaugural event was held in 1964. It was instituted by the French Golf Federation in an agreement with the United States Golf Association. It was planned by Lally Segard, at the time known as Vicomtesse de Saint Sauveur, from France and Mrs. Henri Prunaret from America. Segard also asked her friends Ricardo and Silvia Espirito Santo, from Portugal, to donate a trophy for the event, which they did. They had originally bought the golden cup, which had belonged to Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, for an international Portuguese event that was not played anymore. The Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship
The Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship is a biennial amateur golf tournament which takes place in alternating years with the World Amateur Team Championships. The competition consists 20 countries represented by teams of four (two men and two women) and takes place at the Whispering Pines Golf Club, located 80 miles outside of Houston in Trinity, Texas. Added in 2013, the winner of the individual men's competition receives a sponsor exemption to the PGA Tour’s Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.
