Aram Quartet
Aram Quartet was an Italian musical group that won the title after taking part in the first Italian edition of the talent show ''X Factor''. The band split in 2010. The group was composed of: * Antonio Ancora b. 11 April 1981 in Galatina * Raffaele Simone b. 4 May 1974 in Lecce * Antonio Maggio b. 8 August 1986 in San Pietro Vernotico * Michele Cortese b. 27 September 1985 in Gallipoli. The name Aram comes from the first letter of the names of the members of the "quartet". They were mentored during the series by Morgan and their vocal coach was Gaudi. They won a contract from Sony BMG estimated at 300,000 Euros. Marco Castoldi (born 23 December 1972), better known by his stage name Morgan, is an Italian singer and musician. His musical genres are mainly alternative rock and electronic rock, sometimes experimental rock and synthpop. He has also been a judge for seven seasons in the Italian version of'' The X Factor,'' winning five of them through acts he mentored: Aram Quartet (series 1 - 2008), Matteo Becucci (series 2 - 2008–9), Marco Mengoni (series 3 - 2009), Chiara Galiazzo (series 6 - 2012) and Michele Bravi (series 7 - 2013). ''X Factor Italia'' is a TV show which airs on prime time in Italy. The singing competition is the Italian version of Britain's ''The X Factor''. As of Season 16, it is currently hosted by Francesca Michielin. Francesco Facchinetti hosted the show's first four seasons before being replaced by Alessandro Cattelan for Season 5 up to Season 14 before being replaced by Ludovico Tersigni for one season. The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) is an umbrella organization that keeps track of virtually all aspects of the music recording industry in Italy. It was established in 1992, when major corporate labels left the previously existing Associazione dei Fonografici Italiani (AFI).
