Shheem
Shhiim ( ar, شحيم) alternatively written as ''Shheem'' or ''Chhim''/''Shleem'' is a town in Lebanon which is located 40 kilometres south-east of Beirut. Shhiim is located on 4 mountains in the Chouf region in lebanon. Chhim has a population of about 49,000. It is considered a city by some. Shhiim is the largest Sunni Muslim town in the Chouf region. It is often regarded as the capital of the Iklim el-Kharoub which is the coastal part of the Chouf. Shhiim has warm, dry and humid summers, with cold and wet winters. The weather is similar to that of the coastal cities. Politics in the area is dominated by the Future Movement and the Progressive Socialist Party, with two MPs from Shhiim taking on a role for each respective party. Shhiim is often confused within size due to many parts of it having different names; some more familiar parts of Shhiim include Marj-Ali, Sahle, Jabal Swed, Chamis and Jirid. Chhim Siek Leng ( km, ឈឹម សៀក​ឡេង, born 12 April 1940) is a Cambodian politician. He belongs to the Funcinpec party and was elected to represent Kampong Cham in the National Assembly of Cambodia in 2003. Leng was a close ally of then-party president Prince Norodom Ranariddh Norodom Ranariddh ( km, នរោត្តម រណឫទ្ធិ; 2 January 1944 – 28 November 2021) was a Cambodian prince, politician and law academic.
