Chełmianka Chełm
Chełmianka Chełm is a Polish football club from Chełm, Lublin Voivodeship. The club has traditional colors of Chełm Land white and green. History The club was founded in 1955 through the merger of several smaller football clubs operating in Chełm. Until 1992, the club officially carried the prefix ''Robotniczy Klub Sportowy'', the ''Workers Sports Club'', a prefix with which the fans still identify with. Since 1959, the club benefited from the PKWM Stadium (currently called the Municipal Stadium). In the summer of 1961, the merging of local clubs into one side continued and Chełmianka merged with local amateur club Kolejarz Chełm. In 1974, the club was officially taken in by the newly formed Chełm Footwear Market (''Chełmskie Zakłady Obuwia'' in Polish, ''ChZO'' for short). Polish Hussars
The Polish hussars (; pl, husaria ), alternatively known as the winged hussars, were a heavy cavalry formation active in Poland and in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth from 1503 to 1702. Their epithet is derived from large rear wings, which were intended to demoralize the enemy during charge. The hussars ranked as the elite of Polish cavalry until their official disbanding in 1776. The hussar dress was ostentatious and comprised plated body armour (cuirass, spaulders, bevors, and arm bracers) adorned by gold ornaments, a burgonet or lobster-tailed pot helmet and jackboots as well as versatile weaponry such as lances, koncerz, sabres, backswords, pistols, maces, and hatchets. It was customary to maintain a red-and-white colour scheme, and to be girded with tanned animal hide. The Polish Cup in football ( pl, Puchar Polski w piłce nożnej ) is an elimination tournament for Polish football clubs, held continuously from 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( pl, Puchar Tysiąca Drużyn ). Participation is open to any club registered with the Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid. Reserve and veteran teams are also eligible, with reserve teams reaching the final on two occasions (and winning it once). The Cup is popular among lower-level teams, as it gives them a chance to play better known sides. Hetman Zamość is a Football team, football club based in Zamość, Poland. The club play in Liga okręgowa, Liga Okręgowa, which is the sixth tier of football in the country. The club was formed under the name Strzelec before later becoming Hetman Zamość. Over the years the club has also been known as Sparta Zamość, Unia Zamość, MZKS Hetman Zamość and Hetman – Kadex Zamość. The club play their home games at the Stadion OSiR w Zamościu.
