Chetthathirat II
Chetthathirat ( th, เชษฐาธิราช, ) or Borommaracha II (; 1613 – 1629) was the eldest son of King Song Tham and older brother of Athittayawong and Phra Sisin or Phra Phanpi Sisin ( th, พระพันปีศรีศิลป์), all three of the House of Sukhothai. In childhood he was known as Chetthakuman (พระเชษฐากุมาร), meaning 'Chettha the Infant', or simply Chettha. Reign Chetthathirat reigned for around a year according to Songtham's wishes conveyed to Okya Sri Vorawong ( th, ออกญาศรีวรวงศ์) or Phraya Siworawong – an influential royal page. The Sukhothai Kingdom ( th, สุโขทัย, , IAST: , ) was a post-classical Thai kingdom (mandala) in Mainland Southeast Asia surrounding the ancient capital city of Sukhothai in present-day north-central Thailand. The kingdom was founded by Si Inthrathit in 1238 and existed as an independent polity until 1438, when it fell under the influence of the neighboring Ayutthaya after the death of Borommapan (Maha Thammaracha IV). Wisutkasat ( th, วิสุทธิกษัตรีย์, ) or Borommathewi (), was a Siamese Queen and Princess during the Ayutthaya period in the 16th century, born Sawatdiratchathida () to Prince Thianracha (later King Maha Chakkraphat) and Suriyothai. She was a mother of two kings (Naresuan and Ekathotsarot, and the maternal ancestor of the Sukhothai Dynasty, which ruled Ayutthaya from 1569-1629. Life In 1548 she married Maha Thammaracha, a cousin on her mother's side. He was made Lord of Phitsanulok, soon after helping Maha Chakkraphat to the throne through a palace coup. Ekathotsarot ( th, เอกาทศรถ, , ) or Sanphet III ( th, สรรเพชญ์ที่ ๓); 1560 – 1610/11) was the King of Ayutthaya from 1605 to 1610/11 and overlord of Lan Na from 1605 to 1608/09, succeeding his brother Naresuan.
