Chetana Nagavajara
Chetana Nagavajara ( th, เจตนา นาควัชระ , born 19 July 1937) is a Professor Emeritus of German language at Silpakorn University, a public university in Thailand. He was Dean of Faculty of Arts (1976–1979) and Vice President of that university (1979–1981) and also served in various government-appointed roles for higher education administrations in the country. As a scholar, his early work includes comparative literature and German literature. He authored books and articles for general and academic audiences in his mother-tongue, Thai as well as English and German. Through his writings and public talks, Nagavajara is later known in Thailand for his contributions to the arts criticism movement and his voice and leadership in the field of the humanities. Nakhon Pathom
Nakhon Pathom ( th, นครปฐม, ) is a city (''thesaban nakhon'') in central Thailand, the former capital of Nakhon Pathom province. One of the most important landmarks is the giant Phra Pathommachedi. The city is also home to Thailand's only Bhikkhuni temple Wat Songkhammakalayani, Wat Song Thammakanlayani (), which is also open to women from abroad. Sanam Chandra Palace ( th, พระราชวังสนามจันทร์; ; "Moon Plaza") is a palace complex built by Vajiravudh in Nakhon Pathom Province, Thailand, 56 km west of Bangkok. The palace complex is about a kilometer away from the Phra Pathommachedi. The complex consists of five buildings and a Ganesh shrine.
