Cherri Gilham (born 31 December 1944), also known as Cheryl Gilham, Cherry Gilham, and Cheryl G DeMille, is a former comedy actress who was one of the first "Page 3" girls and is now a writer, musician and video producer. Biography Modelling and acting career Cherri Gilham appeared often on "Page 3" in the ''Daily Mirror'' and ''The Sun'' from 1972 to 1975. She worked with many of the top UK comedians in the 1970s including Benny Hill, Dick Emery, The Two Ronnies, Frankie Howerd, Jimmy Tarbuck, Dave Allen, Mike Yarwood, and Bernie Winters. Page 3, or Page Three, was a British newspaper convention of publishing a large image of a topless female glamour model (known as a Page 3 girl) on the third page of mainstream red top tabloids. '' The Sun'' introduced the feature in November 1970, which boosted its readership and prompted competing tabloids—including '' The Daily Mirror'', ''The'' ''Sunday People'', and ''The'' ''Daily Star''—to begin featuring topless models on their own third pages. Clive Stuart Anderson (born 10 December 1952) is an English television and radio presenter, comedian, writer and former barrister. Winner of a British Comedy Award in 1991, Anderson began experimenting with comedy and writing comedic scripts during his 15-year legal career. ''As Time Goes By'' is a British romantic sitcom that aired on BBC One from 12 January 1992 to 30 December 2005, running for nine series and two specials. Bernard Braden
Bernard Chastey Braden (16 May 1916 – 2 February 1993) was a Canadian-born British actor and comedian, who is best known for his appearances in UK television and radio shows. Life Braden was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and educated at Magee Secondary School, Kerrisdale, Vancouver. He produced plays on CJOR Vancouver in the late 1930s and early 1940s. He married Barbara Kelly in 1942, and they moved to Toronto the same year. They had two children, Christopher and Kelly Braden. Seven years later, he, his wife and two children moved to England. ''Top of the Pops'' (''TOTP'') is a British record chart television programme, made by the BBC and broadcast weekly between 1January 1964 and 30 July 2006. The programme was the world's longest-running weekly music show. For most of its history, it was broadcast on Thursday evenings on BBC One.
