Arkady Chernyshev
Arkady Ivanovich Chernyshev (russian: Аркадий Иванович Чернышёв; March 16, 1914 – April 17, 1992) was a Soviet ice hockey, soccer and bandy player, who played in the Soviet Hockey League, also a coach for Dynamo Moscow and a distinguished coach for Soviet Union national ice hockey team. Olga Chernysheva (born 1962 in Moscow, Russia) is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Moscow. Her work spans film, photography, drawing and object-based mediums, where she draws on quotidian moments and marginal spaces from everyday life as a way of exploring the increasing fragmentation of master narratives in contemporary Russian culture. Lomonosov Bridge
Lomonosov Bridge (russian: Мост Ломоносова) across the Fontanka River is the best preserved of towered movable bridges that used to be typical for Saint Petersburg in the 18th century. The original Tchernyshov Bridge, measuring 63 metres long by 14,7 metres wide, was constructed between 1785 and 1787. During the mid-19th century industrialization other bridges had their towers removed to facilitate traffic, but Tchernyshov Bridge retained the original appearance, with four rusticated Doric pavilions with small domed caps. Its movable middle section of wood was replaced by a metal one in 1912. Zakhar Chernyshyov
Zakhar Grigoryevich Chernyshev (172231 August 1784) was a Russian noble, courtier to Catherine the Great, Imperial Russian Army officer, and Imperial Russian politician in the 18th century. After made a courtier to then-Princess Sophie of Anhalt-Zerbst in 1744, Chernyshev remained a favorite of the future Russian monarch into the 1770s. An Imperial Russian Army officer during the Seven Years' War, Chernyshev retired in 1764, and would be ultimately promoted to General Field Marshal by Catherine II. At her appointment, Chernyshev led the College of War from 1764–1774, served as her governor-general of the Pskov and Mogilev Governorates, and was the mayor of Moscow until his death. Count Piotr Grigoryevich Chernyshev (; 24 March 1712 – 20 August 1773) was a Russian Imperial nobleman, diplomat, privy counsellor, chamberlain, and senator. A member of the Chernyshyov family, he was the son of (1672-1745) and Avdotya Rzhevskaya (1693-1747) and thus brother to Zakhar Chernyshev and Ivan Chernyshyov.
