Cheng Taining
Cheng Taining (; born 9 December 1935) is a Chinese architect. He is Director of the Design and Theoretical Research Center of Southeast University and Chief Architect of . Biography Cheng was born 9 December 1935 in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. He graduated from the Southeast University School of Architecture, School of Architecture of Nanjing Institute of Technology (now part of Southeast University). In 1984 Cheng became director and chief architect of the Hangzhou Architectural Design Institute. He won the Liang Sicheng Architecture Prize in 2004 and was elected a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2005. His pieces were collected in ''20th-Century World Architecture'' by International Union of Architects. Cheng has designed more than 40 large-scale projects, including the National Theatre of Ghana, the Hangzhou railway station, National Assembly (Mali), National Assembly Building of Mali, Shaoxing Citizens' Square, Shaoxing Lu Xun Museum, and Haining Museum. Cheng (surname)
Cheng can be a transcription of one of several Chinese surnames. Since the syllable ''Cheng'' represents different sounds in Hanyu pinyin and the Wade–Giles systems of Chinese romanization, some ambiguity will exist as to which sound is represented by the letters "Cheng" if the romanisation and tone is not known. National Theatre Of Ghana
The National Theatre was opened in 1992 to spearhead the Theatre movement in Ghana by providing a multi-functional venue for concerts, dance, drama and musical performances, screenplays, exhibitions and special events. In Ghana, theatre as an artistic form has existed for centuries in the traditional dramatic expressions of society, however, the National Theatre Movement (NTM) was conceived around the time of Ghana's independence in 1957 to help remold the new nation's cultural identity. The theatre is governed by the National Theatre Law 1991, PNDC Law 259. Haining Museum
() is a county-level city in Zhejiang Province, China, and under the jurisdiction of Jiaxing. It is in the south side of Yangtze River Delta, and in the north of Zhejiang. National Assembly (Mali)
The National Assembly of Mali is the unicameral country's legislative body of 147 voting members. Members of the National Assembly, called deputies, are elected by direct universal suffrage for a five-year term, during which they enjoy parliamentary immunity. Members are directly elected in single-member districts using a two-round voting system where candidates must receive an absolute majority of votes in order to win. The Assembly normally meets twice a year, on the first Monday in October for no more than 75 days and the first Monday in April for no more than 90 days.
