Chen Kuei-ru
Chen Kuei-ru ( zh, 陳奎儒; also transliterated as Chen Kuei-ju; born 22 September 1993) is a Taiwanese athlete competing in the hurdling, sprint hurdles. He won a silver medal at the 2017 Summer Universiade. His personal bests are 13.34 seconds in the 110 metres hurdles (+0.1 m/s, Taipei 2019) and 7.81 seconds in the 60 metres hurdles (Doha 2016). Sihu Township (, Wade–Giles: Szuhu) is a Township (Taiwan), rural township in Yunlin County, Taiwan. Athletics at the 2020 Summer Olympics were held during the last ten days of the Games. They were due to be held from 31 July – 9 August 2020, at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the games were postponed to 2021, with the track and field events set for 30 July – 8 August. The sport of athletics at these Games was split into three distinct sets of events: track and field events, remaining in Tokyo, and road running events and racewalking events, moved to Sapporo. A total of 48 events were held, one more than in 2016, with the addition of a mixed relay event. The men's 110 metres hurdles at the 2019 World Athletics Championships was held at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha from 30 September to 2 October. Summary Five athletes returned from the 2017 final, the defending champion and Olympic champion Omar McLeod, silver medalist Sergey Shubenkov, Olympic silver medalist Orlando Ortega, Devon Allen and Shane Brathwaite, added as a 9th finalist after he was interfered with in the semi finals when Ronald Levy drifted out of his lane. 2019 World Athletics Championships
The 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships () was the seventeenth edition of the biennial, global athletics competition organised by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), since renamed World Athletics. It was held between 27 September and 6 October 2019 in Doha, Qatar, at the renovated multi-purpose Khalifa International Stadium, but reduced to 21,000 available seats. 1,772 athletes from 206 teams competed in 49 athletics events over the ten-day competition, comprising 24 events each for men and women, plus a mixed relay. The 2019 Asian Athletics Championships was the 23rd edition of the Asian Athletics Championships. It was held from 21 to 24 April 2019 at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar. During the closing ceremony of the 22nd Asian Athletics Championships in Bhubaneswar India, President of Asian Athletics Association (AAA) Dahlan Al Hamad officially handed over the AAA Flag to Qatar Olympic Committee Secretary-General and Qatar Athletics Federation President Thani Abdulrahman Al Kuwari.
