Chelsey Brodt-Rosenthal
Chelsey Brodt-Rosenthal (born December 7, 1983) is an American ice hockey defender, currently playing with the Minnesota Whitecaps of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). Playing career During her teenage years, Brodt-Rosenthal played for Roseville Area High School in her hometown of Roseville, Minnesota, winning the state championship in 1999. From 2002 to 2006, she played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers women's ice hockey program, scoring 43 points in 151 NCAA Division I games played. She won a national championship with the team in 2004. In 2010, she won the Clarkson Cup with the independent Minnesota Whitecaps, scoring the opening goal three minutes into the championship game in a 4–0 victory over the Brampton Thunder. She stayed with the Whitecaps as the team joined the NWHL in 2018, picking up four points in fourteen games in her debut NWHL season and helping the team to an Isobel Cup championship. Minnesota Whitecaps
The Minnesota Whitecaps are a professional ice hockey team in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF; formerly known as the National Women's Hockey League). They play in Richfield, Minnesota, part of the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area, at the Richfield Ice Arena. Established in 2004, the Whitecaps were part of the Western Women's Hockey League (WWHL) during 2004 to 2011. The team was independent, following the dissolution of the Western Women's Hockey League after the 2010–11 season. While independent, the Whitecaps' schedule consisted mostly of games against women's college ice hockey squads. The team also played some exhibition games against teams in the new National Women's Hockey League during the league's inaugural 2015–16 season but was not an official member of that league. The IIHF Women's World U18 Championship, officially the IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women's World Championship, is an annual ice hockey tournament for national women's under-18 (U18) ice hockey teams, administrated by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Winny Brodt-Brown
Winny Brodt-Brown (born February 18, 1978) is an American former ice hockey player. She was the first winner of the Minnesota Ms. Hockey Award in 1996. She won a silver medal at the 2000 and 2001 IIHF Women's World ice hockey championships. She played for the Minnesota Whitecaps and was a member when the team won the Western Women's Hockey League championship during the 2008–09 season and the 2010 Clarkson Cup. She was also a member of the Whitecaps when the team won the Isobel Cup during their first year as a member of the Premier Hockey Federation (then the National Women's Hockey League) during the 2018–19 season.
