"Cheated Hearts" is a single by New York-based alternative rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs. It is taken from their second album ''Show Your Bones''. The song was first released as a live performance from their DVD, Tell Me What Rockers to Swallow in 2004, but was released as a single two years thereafter. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are an American indie rock band formed in New York City in 2000. The group is composed of vocalist and pianist Karen O (born Karen Lee Orzolek), guitarist and keyboardist Nick Zinner, and drummer Brian Chase. They are complemented in live performances by second guitarist David Pajo (formerly of Slint and Tortoise), who joined as a touring member in 2009 and replaced Imaad Wasif, who had previously held the role. Merrill Nisker (born 11 November 1966), better known by her stage name Peaches, is a Canadian electroclash musician and producer. Born in Ontario, Peaches began her musical career in the 1990s as part of a folk trio, Mermaid Cafe. In 1995, she established a rock band, the Shit. That year she also released her first solo album, ''Fancypants Hoodlum''. After moving to Berlin, Germany, she was signed to the Kitty-Yo label and released her second album, '' The Teaches of Peaches'' (2000).
