Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (; , sometimes abbreviated BFC; Arpitan: ''Borgogne-Franche-Comtât'') is a region in Eastern France created by the 2014 territorial reform of French regions, from a merger of Burgundy and Franche-Comté. Les Trois-Châteaux (; "The Three Castles") is a commune in the Jura department of eastern France. The municipality was established on 1 April 2016 by the merger of the former communes of L'Aubépin, Chazelles and Nanc-lès-Saint-Amour (the seat).
