Chayilyam
''Chayilyam'' is a 2014 Indian Malayalam-language film written and directed by Manoj Kana. The story is about the plight of a hapless widow, who is denied the freedom to lead a normal life by the society. The film was produced with contributions from more than 2,000 individuals and released in theatres in February 2014. This film received a positive response at film festivals. Anumol is an Indian actress, predominantly acting in Malayalam and Tamil films. She appeared in Malayalam movies such as ''Chayilyam'' (2014), ''Ivan Megharoopan'' (2012), '' Akam'' (2011), ''Vedivazhipadu'' (2013) and ''Jamna Pyari'' (2015). Chandran Veyattummal
Chandran Veyattummal (also known as Paris Chandran/ Paris V Chandran; April 30, 1956 – May 22, 2022) was born in a traditional musical family in Narikkuni, Kozhikode district of Kerala). Chandran started learning music at the age of six under parents first and then under renowned gurus like Venu Nanminda and Ustad Ahemmed Hussain Khan. Adept at percussion, string instruments, wind instruments, keyboard and reed instruments, he became a music composer. Since 1982, he has been giving background scores for theatrical productions, films and documentaries. He has won Kerala State Film Awards for best background score for the film Bioscope in 2008. International Film Festival Of Kerala
The International Film Festival of Kerala (abbreviated as IFFK) is a film festival held annually in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, India. This film festival started in 1996 and is hosted by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy on behalf of Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala. The festival is held in November or December every year and is acknowledged as one of the leading cultural events in India. Kerala State Film Award For Best Story
The Kerala State Film Award for Best Story is an honour, begun in 1969, presented annually at the Kerala State Film Award of India to a writer for the best story in a Malayalam film. Until 1997, the awards were managed directly by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Government of Kerala. Since 1998, the awards have been constituted by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, an autonomous, non-profit institution functioning under the Department of Cultural Affairs. The awardees are decided by an independent jury constituted every year. They are announced by the Minister for Cultural Affairs and are presented by the Chief Minister. Throughout the years, accounting for ties and repeat winners, the Government of Kerala has presented a total of 51 Best Story awards to 44 different writers.
