Chaurahen
''Chaurahen'' is an Indian drama film directed by Rajshree Ojha, starring Zeenat Aman, Roopa Ganguly, Soha Ali Khan and Kiera Chaplin in the leading roles. The film was based on four short stories of eminent Hindi novelist Nirmal Verma. Shooting was completed in 2007 but the film was shelved due to financial problems. The movie was finally released on 16 March 2012 through PVR Pictures, receiving mixed reviews. Synopsis Chaurahen consists of four different stories - a couple with a troubled and adulterous affair; a couple dealing with the loss of their son and a young man dealing with memories of his ancestral home - that is told in the backdrop of three different Indian cities. It hovers around the simple moments of everyday life. The overall theme of the movie is the importance of forgiveness and love. Rajshree Ojha (born 1976) is an Indian film maker who directed Aisha and Chaurahen Early life Born in 1976, Rajshree is from Kolkata. She grew up in Bangalore and left to New York City for her graduation in computer science. After completing her graduation, she went to learn film-making from New York University. She had her masters in film-making from American Film Institute in 2002. Zeenat Aman
Zeenat Khan (born 19 November 1951), better known as Zeenat Aman, is an Indian actress and former fashion model. She first received recognition for her modelling work, and at the age of 19, went on to participate in beauty pageants, winning both the Femina Miss India pageant and the Miss Asia Pacific International pageant in 1970.
