Sir Tsun-nin Chau, CBE (; 22 December 1893 – 27 January 1971) was a prominent Hong Kong businessman and politician. The Senior Unofficial Member, later Senior Member and, finally, Convenor of the Non-official Members, was the highest-ranking unofficial member of the Legislative Council (LegCo) and Executive Council (ExCo) of British Hong Kong, which was tasked with representing the opinions of all unofficial members of the council to the Governor. Ethnic Chinese members of either council were frequently referred to as "Chinese representatives" of the council before the introduction of elected seats in the LegCo; the most senior ethnic Chinese member was dubbed the "Senior Chinese Unofficial Member" () or "Senior Chinese Representative". Arthur Morse
Sir Arthur Morse ( Chinese: 摩士) (25 April 1892 – 13 May 1967) was the head of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation during and after World War II. He was a British banker born in Tipperary in Ireland. He worked in Shanghai, London and Tientsin and finally many years in Hong Kong. He rebuilt HSBC and did much to revive Hong Kong after the war, retired in 1953 and moved to London where he died in 1967. Sir Sik-nin Chau (; 13 April 1903 – 30 November 1985) was a prominent Hong Kong doctor, politician and businessman during the first decades after the Second World War. He was the Senior Unofficial Member of the Executive and Legislative Councils of Hong Kong from 1959 to 1962 and from 1953 to 1959 respectively. Biography Chau was born in April 1903 in Hong Kong. He was educated at the St. Stephen's College and entered the University of Hong Kong in 1918. After he graduated in medicine in 1924, he went abroad for further study in Vienna and London, where he obtained the Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery and Diploma in Laryngology and Otology. He returned to Hong Kong to practise with those specialist qualifications. He was well-versed in healing eye, ear, and throat. Chau joined the Department of Surgery at the University of Hong Kong for three years as lecturer in ophthalmology.
