Chattooga High School
Chattooga High School (CHS / Chattooga County High School) is a public high school in the city of Summerville, Georgia, United States. It is located in Chattooga County Chattooga County is a county located in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 24,965. According to the World Population Review, as of 2021, it is estimated at 24,803. The county seat is ..., in the northwest portion of the state, and enrolls 750 students. It is a part of Chattooga County School District. Beginning in the 2010–2011 school year the district began holding school on four days per week instead of five in all of its schools, including Chattooga High. As a result, each school day is longer. The district saved $800,000 in its first year of four-day-per-week operations.

Summerville is a city and the county seat of Chattooga County, Georgia, United States. The population was 4,534 at the 2010 census. History Summerville was founded in 1838 as the seat of the newly formed Chattooga County. It was incorporated as a town in 1839 and as a city in 1909. Summerville was named from the fact it was a popular summer resort.
