Bob Chatt
Robert Samuel Chatt (August 1870 – c. 1955) was an English footballer who was a member of the Aston Villa team which won the Football League championship three times in the 1890s. Chatt was credited with scoring the fastest goal in FA Cup Final history, scored after just 30 seconds in the 1895 FA Cup Final. This record stood for 114 years until Louis Saha of Everton scored after 25 seconds against Chelsea in the 2009 final. Chatt later won the FA Amateur Cup with Stockton and is the only player to have winner's medals for both the FA Cup and the FA Amateur Cup. Career Aston Villa Chatt was born in Barnard Castle, County Durham and played football for Cleator Moor and Middlesbrough Ironopolis before joining Aston Villa for a nominal fee in August 1893. Hicham Chatt (born 18 February 1969) is a retired Moroccan long-distance runner who specialized in the marathon and cross-country running. He finished sixteenth in the long race at the 2003 World Cross Country Championships, and twelfth in 2004. For this he won a bronze medal with the Moroccan team in the team competition in 2003. In 2004 the team finished fourth. He won the Cross de Atapuerca meeting in 2006. Chatt also competed in the marathon at the 2007 World Championships without finishing the race. His personal best marathon time is 2:07:59 hours, achieved in April 2006 in the London Marathon. Joseph Chatt
Joseph Chatt (6 November 1914 – 19 May 1994) was a renowned British researcher in the area of inorganic and organometallic chemistry. His name is associated with the description of the pi-bond between transition metals and alkenes, the Dewar–Chatt–Duncanson model. Chatt received his Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge under the direction of F. G. Mann for research on organoarsenic and organophosphorus compounds and their complexes with transition metals. He was employed at Imperial Chemical Industries from 1949 to 1962, during which time he, often in collaboration with Bernard L. Shaw, published influential work on the metal hydrides and metal alkene complexes. During this period, he reported the first example of C-H bond activation by a transition metal and one of the first examples of a transition metal hydride.
