Chatham railway station is on the Chatham Main Line in England, serving the town of Chatham, Medway, Chatham, Kent. It is down the line from and is situated between and Gillingham (Kent) railway station, Gillingham. The station and most trains that call are operated by Southeastern (train operating company), Southeastern. Following a timetable change on Sunday 20 May 2018, some trains are operated by Govia Thameslink Railway, Govia Thameslink. There are two platforms, one for each direction and both capable of accommodating 12-coach trains. There are tunnels at either end of the station: Fort Pitt Tunnel (428 yards) at the London end, and Chatham Tunnel (297 yards) at the country end. Chatham Station (Massachusetts)
Chatham station is a former railroad station located on Depot Road in Chatham, Massachusetts which houses a museum. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1978, and it is now home to the Chatham Railroad Museum. The Chatham Railroad Museum features many railroad artifacts, including the New York Central model locomotives used at the 1939 New York World's Fair. Other displays include original and operating Western Union telegraph equipment, lanterns, badges, signs, tools, timetables, menus and passes, promotional literature, original paintings and prints, calendars, and a restored 1910 caboose. Service to Chatham was on a line that spurred at Harwich from the mainline to Provincetown. Service ended to the station in the 1930s. There is no connected railroad track running there for train service. The former New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad line ends in South Dennis and no longer runs to Chatham. Chatham Station (NJ Transit)
Chatham is a railway station in Chatham, New Jersey. A commuter rail station, Chatham receives rail service from statewide provider NJ Transit on its Morristown Line, a branch of the Morris & Essex Lines. Trains on the Morristown Line go to both Hoboken Terminal and New York Penn Station. History Chatham station opened on September 28, 1837 along with other stations on the Morris and Essex Railroad between Orange (at one time the western terminus of the line) and Morristown. During the beginnings of the rail in the area, Chatham was the home of a relatively well-utilised and large rail yard because of the steep grades in the surrounding area. In the early 1900s, the station was mainly used by vacationers from New York City who came to Chatham to experience what was then considered a beautiful town away from the bustling city. A number of hotels on Main Street served this vacation interest. A new elevated station was built in 1914 with a tunnel connecting the two platforms. ...
