Chastre (; wa, Tchåsse) is a French-speaking municipality in Belgium that is located in Wallonia, in the province of Walloon Brabant. Its name comes from the Gallo-Roman word ''castra'' "fortress, fortified camp", Jean-Jacques Jespers, ''Dictionnaire des noms de lieux en Wallonie et à Bruxelles'', Éditions Racine, 2005, from the Latin ''castra'' which is the plural form of ''castrum'' meaning "entrenchment, fortified place". Chastre is a rural and at the same time residential municipality, with 7,684 inhabitants. Chastre comprises seven former villages: Chastre, Villeroux, Blanmont, Cortil-Noirmont, Gentinnes and Saint-Géry. It is crossed by the old Chaussée Brunehaut, a Roman way that connected Bavay to Cologne. Otto I, Holy Roman Emperor
Otto I (23 November 912 – 7 May 973), traditionally known as Otto the Great (german: Otto der Große, it, Ottone il Grande), was East Francia, East Frankish king from 936 and Holy Roman Emperor from 962 until his death in 973. He was the oldest son of Henry the Fowler and Matilda of Ringelheim. Otto inherited the Duchy of Saxony and the kingship of the Germans upon his father's death in 936. Dyle (river)
The Dyle (french: Dyle ; nl, Dijle ) is a river in central Belgium, left tributary of the Rupel. It is long. It flows through the Belgian provinces of Walloon Brabant, Flemish Brabant and Antwerp. Its source is in Houtain-le-Val, near Nivelles in Walloon Brabant. The most important cities along the Dyle are (starting from the source) Ottignies, Wavre, Leuven and Mechelen, the last of which is often called the 'Dijlestad' (Dyle City). The main tributaries of the Dyle are the rivers Demer (in Werchter, Rotselaar municipality), and the Zenne at the ''Zennegat'', on the farthest outskirts of Mechelen, where the canal Leuven-Mechelen also connects. N4 Road (Belgium)
The N4 road in Belgium is a highway that runs from Brussels to Luxembourg. It starts as ''chaussée de Wavre'' at Porte de Namur on the Brussels inner ring and runs south east through Wavre and Namur, Marche-en-Famenne, Bastogne, Martelange and Arlon before terminating as ''route de Luxembourg'' at the Luxembourg border. On its route is crosses the Meuse and Lessive Rivers and the Belgian Ardennes. Before the development of motorways the N4 was a main artery for traffic going south east from Brussels and it was dotted with many friteries, cafes and petrol stations.
