''Chasing Shadows'' is the third and final studio album by the Florida-based metal band Black Tide. It was released on October 16, 2015. This is the first official studio release to not feature original bassist Zakk Sandler and drummer Steven Spence. The album's first single titled "Angel in the Dark" was released on September 15, 2015. Black Tide was an American heavy metal band from Kendall, Florida. Formed in 2004, the band last consisted of Gabriel Garcia (lead guitar, lead vocals), Austin Diaz (rhythm guitar) and Cody Paige (drums). They released their debut album, ''Light from Above'', on March 18, 2008 through Interscope Records when Garcia was 15 years old. Their second album, ''Post Mortem'', was released on August 23, 2011. Black Tide's EP ''Bite the Bullet'' was released on November 12, 2013 by InnerCat Music Group, a Miami-based boutique label. On October 16, 2015 band released their last album '' Chasing Shadows''. Bite The Bullet (EP)
''Bite the Bullet'' is the fourth EP released by the band Black Tide. It was scheduled to be released in the fall of 2013 under the label InnerCat Music Group. The EP was produced and engineered by Mariano Aponte. This is the first release without drummer Steven Spence. The first single titled "Not Afraid", was released on August 31. Background In an interview with The Vinne Langdon show, bassist Zakk Sandler stated that he was not invited to be a part of the Just Another Drug EP.
