Magadeline Lesolobe (born 1983), best known by her stage name Charma Gal, is a Botswana singer-songwriter. Early life Charma Gal was born in Botswana in a small village called Lerala. She was married to Kabelo Mogwe, but the two later divorced in 2016. Charma Gal is a mother of two. Charma Gal is one of the founding members of the cultural dance group, Culture Spears, which was founded in 2005. She left the group to form her own group, called Eke Ntolo, which has released seven albums. Music career Charma Gal released a new album in April 2017:Mmokolodi, (transl. I am going to Mmokolodi.) She has collaborated with various international artists including Jah Prayzah on the song ''Dali Wangu.'' Charma Gal was also featured by Master KG on a single track titled "''Nsalele le ngwana''" in 2018. She released her seventh studio album ''Lekgamu La Bananyana'' in November 2018. Lerala
Lerala is a village in Central District (Botswana), Central District of Botswana. The village is located at the south-eastern end of the Tswapong Hills, from the Limpopo River and the border with South Africa and approximately east of Palapye. The population of Lerala was 6,871 in the 2011 census, which was a 20.5% increase from the 2001 population. An Australian company, DiamonEx Limited, opened a diamond mine north-west of the village. The mine initially known as Martins Drift Diamond Project opened early 2008 and was to employ 230–290 people to produce an estimated per year. Previously a joint company between De Beers and the Botswana government operated between 1998–2001 a smaller exploratory diamond mine at the same site. In February 2009 the mine was placed under Judicial Management due to very high operational costs and the world economic crunch. Sarona Motlhagodi (17 May 1993 – 5 March 2021), known professionally as Sasa Klaas, was a Botswana singer, rapper, and songwriter. She was born on 17 May 1993 in Botswana and raised by a single mother and politician Anna Mokgethi. She was an all-round musician mostly known for her hip-hop. Ross Branch (born 6 May 1986) is a motorcycle racer from Botswana. He lives in Gaborone, Botswana and rode for the KTM Off-Road Racing Team until October 2018. He now represents Monster Energy Yamaha Racing and is the first stage winner from Botswana, after taking the stage 2 victory at the Dakar Rally 2020.
