Charlotte's Necklace (russian: Колье Шарлотты, Kol'e Sharlotty) is a 1984 Soviet detective film directed by Yevgeny Tatarsky. Screen version of the novel by Anatoly Romov ''Customs Inspection''. Plot Officers of KGB, experienced Colonel Seryogin and a young agent Pavlov, are investigating the murder of a fartsovshchik Viktor Korablyov. The investigation brings them to the trail of a criminal group that transports valuable works of jewelry abroad. A duel with experienced and cunning criminals turns out to be a serious test for security officers. It turns out that the murder of Korablev is associated with an attempt to secretly export the famous antique piece known as the Charlotte Necklace abroad. Vladimir Borisovich Soshalsky (russian: Владимир Борисович Сошальский; 14 June 1929 in Leningrad, USSR — 10 October 2007 in Moscow, Russia) was a Soviet and Russian film and theater actor. People's Artist of the RSFSR (1988). Real name — Feodosyev. Biography Born on 14 June 1929 in Leningrad in a family of actors Varvara Rozalion-Soshalskaya and Boris Feodosyev. He made his debut on the stage of the young Soshalsky accident: sparkle behind the scenes of the theater, went to the scene right at the time the play by Ibsen's Ghosts. Vladimir felt the magic of the scene and decided to become an actor. Even before graduating from high school he entered the studio of the Bryantsev Youth Theatre. It was at the Youth Theatre Vladimir Soshalsky played his first starring role - Romeo. Soon the fame reached the Russian Army Theatre. Vladimir Ivanovich Valutsky (russian: Влади́мир Ива́нович Валу́цкий) (25 September 1936 — 14 April 2015) was a Soviet and Russian screenwriter. Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR (1987). Between 1964 and 2013 he wrote and co-wrote 60 screenplays. Early years Vladimir was born in Moscow, Russian SFSR into a mixed Russian-Polish family. His father Ivan Ivanovich (Yanovich) Valutsky moved from Poland to Moscow at the beginning of the World War I along with his own mother Maria Ivanovna Valutskaya and his brother Stefan. He studied engineering and built aerodromes during the Great Patriotic War, then worked in Gosplan and various ministries. Vladimir's mother Galina Vasilyevna Valutskaya (née Kolcheva) was a housewife.
