Charlotte Englebert (born 20 May 2001) is a Belgian field hockey player, who plays as a midfielder. Career Club hockey In the Belgian Hockey League, Englebert plays club hockey for the Royal Racing Club. National teams Under–18 In 2018, Charlotte Englebert was a member of the Belgium U–18 team at the EuroHockey Youth Championship in Santander. At the tournament, Belgium finished in second place, taking home silver. Under–21 Following her debut for the Under–18 side in 2018, Englebert appeared in the national Under–21 in 2019. She represented the team at the EuroHockey Junior Championship in Valencia. The team finished fourth, qualifying for the 2021 FIH Junior World Cup. In july 2022, she made her last appearance with the national Under–21. Women's Belgian Hockey League
The Women's Belgian Hockey League is the top women's league competition for field hockey clubs in Belgium. The league is played since the 1921–22 season. Gantoise are the most recent champions having won their fifth title in the 2022–23 season. Format The season usually starts in September and ends around the end of April or the beginning of May. From the 2021–22 season onwards the league is played by twelve teams who play each other twice and who compete for four spots in the championship play-offs. The number one and four and the number two and three play each other in the semi-final and the winners qualify for the final where the winner will be crowned champion. The last two teams are relegated to the National 1 and the tenth placed team plays a relegation play-off against the third-placed team in the second division. The United States women's national field hockey team, represents the United States in international field hockey. The team is currently coached by Anthony Farry. It made its first international appearance in 1920 when a touring team visited England, coached by Constance M.K. Applebee. The team made several international appearances in the early 20th century, leading to the United States hosting the eighth International Federation of Women's Hockey Associations Tournament in 1963. 2022 Women's EuroHockey Junior Championship
The 2022 Women's EuroHockey Junior Championship was the 20th edition of the Women's EuroHockey Junior Championship, the biennial international women's under-21 field hockey championship of Europe organised by the European Hockey Federation. The top five teams will qualify for the 2023 Women's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup. It was held alongside the men's tournament in Ghent, Belgium from 24 to 30 July 2022. The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in Wavre but a venue change was required due to the initial venue not being ready in time due to flooding. 2021 Women's FIH Junior World Cup
The 2022 Women's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup is the ninth edition of the Women's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup, the biennial women's under-21 field hockey world championship organized by the International Hockey Federation. It was scheduled to be held from 5 to 16 December 2021 in Potchefstroom, South Africa. Because of a new COVID-19 variant, the tournament was put on hold on 26 November 2021 and later postponed, with the option to be hosted by South Africa. On 10 January 2022 it was announced the tournament will take place from 2 to 13 April 2022 at the original venue.
