Charlie Hickey (born September 28, 1999) is an American indie rock musician from Pasadena, California. Hickey is currently signed to Phoebe Bridgers' Saddest Factory Records. Biography Early life and musical beginnings Charlie Dworsky-Hickey was born in Pasadena, California, on September 28, 1999. He is the son of American singer-songwriter and playback singer Sally Dworsky and songwriter Chris Hickey. He began collaborating with musician Phoebe Bridgers after posting a cover of her song "Radar" on YouTube in 2013, when he was thirteen. Hickey released his first EP age fourteen and began to take music more seriously after moving to college, which he attended for only one year. He lists Nirvana, Incubus, Conor Oberst, and Elliott Smith as his early influences. "Time to Pretend" is a song by the American indie band MGMT, released as the lead single from their debut studio album '' Oracular Spectacular'' (2007) on March 3, 2008. An earlier version had been released on their '' Time to Pretend'' EP. The single was released as a 7" and CD single featuring the B-sides "Weekend Wars" (BBC Radio 1 Session) and " Metanoia", respectively. In early 2009, the song was re-released in the UK. MGMT () is an American indie rock band formed in 2002 in Middletown, Connecticut. It was founded by multi-instrumentalists Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser. Alongside VanWyngarden and Goldwasser, MGMT's live lineup currently consists of drummer Will Berman, bassist Simon O'Connor, and guitarist and keyboard James Richardson. Originally signed to Cantora Records by the nascent label's co-founder, NYU undergrad Will Griggs, MGMT later signed with Columbia and RED Ink in 2006 and released their debut album '' Oracular Spectacular'' the next year. Christian Lee Hutson (born November 5, 1990) is an American singer, musician and songwriter. He began his career as a member of The Driftwood Singers, before signing to ANTI‐ as a solo artist in 2019. Hutson has since released two full-length albums: '' Beginners'' (2020) and ''Quitters'' (2022). Both records were co-produced by his friend and fellow musician, Phoebe Bridgers. In addition to his collaborations with Bridgers, Hutson is known for co-writing and performing songs with Samia, Marshall Vore, Whitmer Thomas, Conor Oberst and Ethan Gruska.
