Charles Williams (Wisconsin State Legislator)
Charles Henry Williams (August 13, 1844February 2, 1922) was an American farmer and Democratic politician. He was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate for one term, representing the 13th senatorial district ( Dodge County) from 1877 to 1879. Biography Born in Burnett, in Dodge County, Wisconsin, he served in various local offices, and was Town Supervisor of Westford, Dodge County, Wisconsin Westford is a town in Dodge County, Wisconsin, United States. The 13th Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in south central Wisconsin, the district comprises most of Dodge County, the northern half of Jefferson County, and parts of eastern and northeastern Dane County. The Wisconsin Senate is the upper house of the Wisconsin State Legislature. Together with the larger Wisconsin State Assembly they constitute the legislative branch of the state of Wisconsin. The powers of the Wisconsin Senate are modeled after those of the U.S. Senate.
