Charles Ulrick Bay
Charles Ulrick Bay (September 5, 1888 – December 31, 1955) was an American businessman and diplomat. He was the United States Ambassador to Norway from 1946 to 1953. Biography Bay operated an oil company and served in the Office of Strategic Services. Bay was a politically appointed ambassador and was nominated for the embassy mission by President Harry S. Truman. He presented his credentials as the second U.S. ambassador to Norway after World War II on July 26, 1946, to King Haakon VII of Norway and served until July 31, 1953.Charles Ulrick Bay (1888-1955)

The Embassy of the United States in Oslo is the diplomatic representation of the federal government of the United States to the Kingdom of Norway. A new embassy was put into service in May 2017. Josephine Perfect Bay
Josephine Holt Perfect Bay (August 10, 1900–August 6, 1962) was an American financier and businessperson. She notably became the first woman to head a constituent firm of the New York Stock Exchange. Biography Josephine Perfect Bay () was born in Anamosa, Iowa in 1900 to a real estate broker and his wife. Her family moved to Brooklyn, New York when she was young, and she was educated at Brooklyn Heights Seminary and attended Colorado College from 1918 to 1919. She married her first husband Charles Ulrick Bay, a businessman and Office of Strategic Services officer, in 1942. Ulrick Bay would go on to become the United States ambassador to Norway before dying in 1955. At the time of his death, he held a 71% stake in A.M. Kidder & Co, a New York brokerage firm. Drøbak
Drøbak is a List of cities in Norway, town and the centre of the municipality of Frogn, in Viken county, Norway. The city is located along the Oslofjord, and has 13,409 inhabitants. History Drøbak and Frogn was established as a parish on its own through a royal decree on 8 September 1823. It had been a part of Ås parish. Drøbak was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). It was merged with Frogn on 1 January 1962. Traditionally, Drøbak was the winter harbour of Norway's capital, Oslo, since in severe winters the fjord will freeze from outside Drøbak all the way up to Oslo. Hammerfest (town)
Hammerfest or Hámmárfeasta is a town that is also the administrative centre of Hammerfest Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It is located on the northwestern coast of the island of Kvaløya, just north of the village of Rypefjord and southwest of the village of Forsøl. The town has a population (2017) of 8,052 which gives the town a population density of . The town has an ice-free harbor, including the nearby island of Melkøya which is home to a natural gas processing station. It processes gas from the Snøhvit gas field in the Barents Sea.
