Charles W. Miller (born August 2, 1939, in Tompkinsville, Kentucky) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives representing District 28 from January 1998 to January 2023. He was first elected in a January 1998 special election following the resignation of incumbent Republican representative Bill Lile. He was defeated for reelection in 2022 by Republican Jared Bauman. Education Miller earned his associate degree from Lindsey Wilson College, and his BA and MA from Western Kentucky University. Career prior to politics Miller served as the principal of Pleasure Ridge Park High School in southwest Jefferson County, Kentucky, from 1978 to 2003. Bill Lile
Bill Lile is an American politician from Kentucky who was a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives from 1972 to 1974 and from 1982 to 1997. Lile was first elected to the house in 1971. He was defeated for reelection in 1973 by Democrat Archie Romines. Lile challenged Romines again in 1981, defeating him for reelection. He resigned from the house in November 1997 in order to join the Jefferson County, Kentucky, Jefferson County Board of Elections. References
