''Charles Manson Superstar'' is a documentary film about Charles Manson, directed by Nikolas Schreck in 1989. Most of the documentary (the entire interview) was filmed inside San Quentin Prison. Nikolas and Zeena Schreck narrated the segments while images were shown, and music played in the background. There was brief footage of Spahn Ranch, and a short clip of James Nolan Mason being interviewed about the Universal Order, and Manson. Nikolas Schreck
Nikolas Schreck is an American singer-songwriter, musician, author, film-maker and Tantric Buddhist religious teacher based in Berlin, Germany. Now a solo artist, Schreck founded the musical magical recording and performance collective Radio Werewolf, which operated from 1984-1994, releasing seven albums. Schreck was also the lead singer of the musical duo Kingdom of Heaven whose album, ''XXIII,'' was released in April 2015. He collaborated musically with his former wife, American singer and musician Zeena Schreck, as well as Australian percussionist John Murphy, NON, Death in June, and the British actor Christopher Lee, whose first album Schreck conceived and produced. Paul "Biff" Rose (born October 15, 1937) is an American comedian and singer-songwriter. Biography Born in New Orleans, Rose moved to Hollywood where he found a job working as a comedy sketch writer with George Carlin working sometimes on the Mort Sahl show. Eventually, Rose moved to songwriting. Following the release of 1968's ''The Thorn in Mrs. Rose's Side'', Rose made several appearances on Johnny Carson's ''The Tonight Show'' from 1968 to 1970. Rose performed on ''The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour'', ''American Bandstand'', and Hugh Hefner's ''Playboy After Dark''. He emceed the Atlantic City Pop Festival of 1969 and the Atlanta Pop Festival of 1970. Music Rose recorded his first two records for Tetragrammaton Records. Joseph Coleman (born November 22, 1955) is an American painter, illustrator actor and performance artist. He has been described as the "walking ghost of Old America" by his wife, photographer Whitney Ward, for his over-riding interest in the historical arcana and personae that often populate his paintings. ''Lie: The Love and Terror Cult'' is the debut studio album by American musician and convicted murderer Charles Manson. It was released on vinyl on March 6, 1970, by Phil Kaufman, through a record label branded Awareness Records. Although not a commercial success, it retains a following among those interested in the Manson case, inspiring many cover versions and samples. The album includes some of Manson's best known songs, including " Look at Your Game, Girl" and " Cease to Exist" (the latter had been recorded by the Beach Boys as "Never Learn Not to Love"). The cover is a parody of the December 19, 1969, ''Life'' magazine cover, which featured Manson along with the headline "The Love and Terror Cult". The two covers are mostly identical; however, the "F" in "LIFE" has been deleted and the line "The dark edge of hippie life" has been removed. Krzysztof Eugeniusz Penderecki (; 23 November 1933 – 29 March 2020) was a Polish composer and conductor. His best known works include ''Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima'', Symphony No. 3, his '' St Luke Passion'', ''Polish Requiem'', ''Anaklasis'' and ''Utrenja''. Zeena Galatea Schreck (née LaVey), known professionally by her Mononymous person, mononymous artist name ZEENA, is a Berlin-based American visual and musical artist, author and the spiritual leader of the Sethian Liberation Movement (SLM), which she founded in 2002. Zeena was raised within the Church of Satan, and came to international prominence early in life as the organization's spokesperson, defending the Church during the 1980s.
