Charles Kuenstle
Charles Kuenstle (b May 3, 1936) is an American writer and actor. He studied at Baylor University and appeared as a guest star on many American TV shows of the 1960s and 1970s, including a regular role as Sgt. Clem Garnet on ''Twelve O'Clock High'', and many appearances in various roles on ''Gunsmoke''. His first writing credit was the Burt Reynolds TV movie ''Hunters Are for Killing''. 12 O'Clock High (TV Series)
''12 O'Clock High'' is an American military drama television series set in World War II. It was originally broadcast on ABC-TV for two-and-one-half TV seasons from September 1964 through January 1967 and was based on the 1949 film of the same name. The series was a co-production of 20th Century Fox Television (Fox had also produced the movie) and QM Productions (one of their few non-law enforcement series). This show is one of the two QM shows not to display a copyright notice at the beginning, but rather at the end (the other was ''A Man Called Sloane'') and the only one not to display the standard "A QM Production" closing card on the closing credits. Gunsmoke
''Gunsmoke'' is an American radio and television Western drama series created by director Norman Macdonnell and writer John Meston. It centers on Dodge City, Kansas, in the 1870s, during the settlement of the American West. The central character is lawman Marshal Matt Dillon, played by William Conrad on radio and James Arness on television. When aired in the United Kingdom, the television series was initially titled ''Gun Law'', later reverting to ''Gunsmoke''. The radio series ran from 1952 to 1961. Burton Leon Reynolds Jr. (February 11, 1936 – September 6, 2018) was an American actor, considered a sex symbol and icon of 1970s American popular culture. ''Hunters Are for Killing'' is a 1970 American TV movie starring Burt Reynolds, Melvyn Douglas and Suzanne Pleshette. The film was originally titled ''The Return''. Plot A man comes home from prison to claim his share of his deceased mother's estate. Production Reynolds at the time played many Native American roles. ''The Astronaut'' is a 1972 American made-for-television science fiction film directed by Robert Michael Lewis and starring Jackie Cooper and Monte Markham. This made-for-television film follows a man who has been hired to impersonate an astronaut who died during the first crewed mission to Mars. The movie was made for ABC for its movie of the week franchise. Real-life astronaut Wally Schirra appears in a cameo role as himself. Plot Television coverage of Brice Randolph, the first astronaut on the surface of Mars, is interrupted, indicating the signal has been lost.
