Charles Henderson High School
Charles Henderson High School is a grades 9- 12 high school located in the city of Troy, Alabama. The namesake of the school, Charles Henderson, was the governor of the state of Alabama from 1915 to 1919. After his death in 1937, Henderson left some of his considerable estate to family members, but most of his money was used to establish a perpetual trust to fund education and healthcare in Troy. The fund was to be used for the construction of new schools and to start a charity hospital for children in Troy. Money from Henderson's trust has been used to fund Charles Henderson High School, Charles Henderson Middle School, and The Charles Henderson Child Health Care Center. Troy is a city in and the county seat of Pike County, Alabama, United States. It was formally incorporated on February 4, 1843. Zac Etheridge
Zac Etheridge (born July 6, 1988) is an American football coach and former safety who currently serves as the safeties/secondary coach at Auburn University. As a player, he was a four year starter and a team captain on Auburn's 2010 National Championship team. High school career Etheridge attended Charles Henderson High School in Troy, Alabama. He initially played basketball and baseball before ultimately deciding to focus on football. Etheridge grew up watching Auburn and Alabama football and began to dream of playing for Auburn after watching the programs 2004 team and becoming enamored with the programs sense of "family and tradition". Brian Meadows
Matthew Brian Meadows (born November 21, 1975) is a retired Major League Baseball relief pitcher. Meadows pitched with the Florida Marlins for two years. He won 11 games in back to back seasons (1998, 1999) despite having an ERA over 5.00 in those seasons. In 2000, he was traded to the San Diego Padres, he made 22 starts for the Padres before being traded to the Kansas City Royals. He finished the season with a record of 13-10 and an ERA of 5.13 in 33 games. In 2001, he had a 1-6 record with an ERA of 6.97 in 10 games for the Royals. He was released following the 2001 season. In 2002, Meadows signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates. From 2003-2005, Meadows pitched exclusively out of the bullpen for the Pirates, appearing in a total of 167 games over that span. Corey Michael Dennis (born July 25, 1992) is an American football coach who is currently the quarterbacks coach at Ohio State University. Playing career Dennis played at Georgia Tech from 2011 to 2014, where he was a reserve defensive back before transitioning to wide receiver.
