Charles Elias Rizk
Charles Rizk ( ar, شارل رزق) (born 20 July 1935) is a Lebanese Maronite politician, who served at different cabinet posts. Early life and education Rizk was born on 20 July 1935. He studied at the prestigious Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, and received a PhD in law. Career Rizk was a faculty member at Lebanese University until he joined politics. He began his political career as an aide to President Fuad Chehab. He was Lebanon's representative at the Francophonie. Then he became director general of the information ministry in 1967. From 1978 to 1983 he served as the head of the state television station Tele Liban. At the beginning of 2005, Rizk was appointed information minister. In July 2005, then Prime Minister Fouad Siniora controversially appointed Rizk as justice minister, a post claimed by Michel Aoun and also by Saad Hariri. Established in 1920, the Ministry of Justice of Lebanon ( ar, وزارة العدل) is one of the ministries of the Lebanese government. The first incarnation of the ministry was the Department of Justice, Property and Endowments which was headed by the Director of Justice. By 1959, the ministry adopted its current name and its objectives of organizing and administering the judiciary of Lebanon had long been underscored by various decrees. Saad Hariri
Saad El-Din Rafik Al-Hariri ( ar, سعد الدين رفيق الحريري, translit=Saʿd ad-Dīn Rafīq al-Ḥarīrī; born 18 April 1970) is a Lebanese-Saudi politician who served as the prime minister of Lebanon from 2009 to 2011 and 2016 to 2020. The son of Rafic Hariri, he founded and has been leading the Future Movement party since 2007. He is seen as "the strongest figurehead" of the March 14 Alliance. Hariri served as Prime Minister of Lebanon from 9 November 2009 to 13 June 2011. After three years living overseas, he returned to Lebanon on 8 August 2014 and served a second term as Prime Minister from 18 December 2016 to 21 January 2020. Serge Brammertz
Serge Brammertz (born 17 February 1962) is a Belgian prosecutor, academic and jurist. He serves as the chief prosecutor for the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) since 2016. He also served as the chief prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) from 2008 until its closure in 2017. Detlev Mehlis (born 1949) is the Senior Public Prosecutor in the Office of the Attorney General in Berlin. Rafic Bahaa El Deen Al Hariri ( ar, رفيق بهاء الدين الحريري; 1 November 1944 – 14 February 2005) was a Lebanese business tycoon and politician who served as the Prime Minister of Lebanon from 1992 to 1998 and again from 2000 until his resignation on . Hariri headed five cabinets during his tenure. He was widely credited for his role in constructing the Taif Agreement that ended the 15-year Lebanese Civil War. Émile Jamil Lahoud (born 12 January 1936) was a Lebanese politician who served as the 16th president of Lebanon from 1998 to 2007. His main foreign-policy achievement was to end the Israeli occupation of Southern Lebanon in May 2000, which was occupied since 1982.
