Charito De León
Charita de León (born 1939) is a Filipina actress who made movies under her mother studio Lvn Pictures, then later, Sampaguita Pictures. She started out as an extra, then became a principal dancer, with Bayani as choreographer. She landed her first pivotal role of Aurora in "El Robo" when she was only seventeen years old. She co-starred with Armando Goyena, Deliah Razon and Carlos Padilla, Jr. By the mid-1950s she was hailed as the Philippines' answer to Marilyn Monroe, proving that one could both be a serious actor and alluring at the same time! Emma Alegre
Emma Alegre (born 1933) is a Filipina retired actress, who worked from 1954 to 1957, mostly for LVN Pictures. She first appeared in '' Dalaginding''. Her third movie was '' Damong Ligaw'', where she was billed second (behind Tessie Quintana). In her fourth movie, '' Dambanang Putik'', she played the friend of Delia Razon. Career Alegre developed her acting career as a drama queen with an "aloof personality". In 1955, she starred opposite Rogelio de la Rosa in the acclaimed drama ''Higit sa Lahat.'' Dorothy Guinto Jones (January 6, 1936 – November 7, 2001), popularly known by her stage name Nida Blanca, was a Filipina actress. After a successful acting career in films during the 1950s, many of which are with actor Nestor de Villa, she gained further prominence in television for her role in the sitcom John en Marsha (1973–1990). Gines Francisco Soriano (July 6, 1928 – February 21, 2004), also known as Nestor de Villa, was a Filipino actor frequently cast in musical films. He was a gifted dancer, often paired with frequent on-screen partner Nida Blanca in both movies and television. His dancing talent led some people to call him the "Fred Astaire of the Philippines", though the same moniker had also been given to Bayani Casimiro.
