Chaplynka Raion
Chaplynka Raion ( uk, Чаплинський район) was one of the 18 administrative raions (a ''district'') of Kherson Oblast in southern Ukraine. Its administrative center was located in the urban-type settlement of Chaplynka. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Kherson Oblast to five. The area of Chaplynka Raion was merged into Kakhovka Raion. Raions of Ukraine (often translated as "districts"; Ukrainian: ра́йон, tr. ''raion''; plural: райо́ни, tr. ''raiony'') are the second level of administrative division in Ukraine, below the oblast. A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality. It was established by the Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. Similar terms exist in Poland (''gromada'') and in Belarus (''hramada''). Khrestivka (Ukrainian: ) is a village in the Kakhovka Raion of Kherson Oblast, Ukraine, 20km north of the border with the Crimean peninsula. The village hosts the administration of the Khrestivka rural Hromada, one of the Hromadas of Ukraine. Hryhorivka, Kherson Oblast
Hryhorivka（), is a village in southern Ukraine, which is located in Kakhovka Raion of Kherson Oblast and hosts the administration of the Hryhorivka rural hromada, one of the Hromadas of Ukraine. Askania-Nova Settlement Hromada
Askania-Nova ( uk, Асканія-Нова) is a Ukrainian nature reserve located in Kherson Oblast, Ukraine, within the dry Taurida steppe near Oleshky Sands and active member of the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme. It is also a research institute of the Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The reserve consists of a zoological park, a botanical (dendrological) garden, and an open territory of virgin steppes. Kakhovka Raion ( uk, Каховський район) is one of the administrative raions (a ''district'') of Kherson Oblast in southern Ukraine. Its administrative center is located in the city of Nova Kakhovka.
