Chapchai Nirat ( th, ชัพชัย นิราช; born 5 June 1983) is a Thai professional golfer. Chapchai is the son of a Thai national team golfer, and turned professional in 1998 as a fifteen-year-old. He won for the first time as a pro at the 2004 Genting Masters in Malaysia. He joined the Asian Tour in 2005, and had a second-place finish in his rookie season. In 2007 he won the TCL Classic, which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour and the Hana Bank Vietnam Masters. He was the third Thai to win a European Tour event. In March 2009, Nirat shot 32-under-par over 72 holes to claim the SAIL Open, setting a new Asian Tour record for the best 72-hole score. Richard Moir (golfer)
Richard Moir (born 1950) is an Australian former actor and editor. He is known for many Australian film roles and in the TV soap opera ''Prisoner'' (also known as ''Prisoner: Cell Block H'') as the original character of electrician Eddie Cook. He is also well known for playing "Dad" Tony Twist in the children's comedy ''Round the Twist''. In 1990, Moir was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, the degenerative effects of which gradually brought his acting career to a premature end. Asian Development Tour
The Asian Development Tour, founded in 2010, is a professional golf tour. It is the development tour for the Asian Tour, with a relationship analogous to the Web.com Tour to the PGA Tour and the Challenge Tour to the European Tour. Players who fail to earn Asian Tour cards through qualifying school may play on the tour. The top five players on the Order of Merit (money list) at the end of the year will earn an Asian Tour card for the following season. Beginning in 2013, tournaments carry Official World Golf Ranking points, with a minimum of six points to the winner and points to the top six plus ties. Most of the tournaments are in Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Several of the tournaments are co-sanctioned with the Professional Golf of Malaysia Tour and the All Thailand Golf Tour. ASEAN PGA Tour
The ASEAN PGA Tour was a men's developmental professional golf tour. It was formed in 2007 and was created to give more competitive opportunities to young and upcoming professionals in the Southeast Asia region. The tour acted as a developmental tour to the now also defunct OneAsia Tour, giving cards to high finishers on the ASEAN PGA Tour Order of Merit each year. In 2008, the tour signed a deal with Mercedes-Benz, being renamed as the Mercedes-Benz Tour. The deal lasted for three years and finished in 2010.
