Chanz Green
Chanz Jeffery Green (born January 1991) is an American business owner and Republican politician from Bayfield County, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 74th Assembly district since January 2023. Biography Chanz Green was born and raised in rural northwest Wisconsin. He graduated from Amery High School and went to work in municipal utilities in Amery, Wisconsin, and rose to become assistant director of public works in Amery. In the meantime, he furthered his education with certificates from Northwood Technical College and University of Wisconsin–Extension programs. In 2019, he was hired as utilities manager for Ashland, Wisconsin, and worked on a major redesign of the city's wastewater treatment system to prevent wastewater from overflowing into Lake Superior. The 74th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in northern Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Ashland County, Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield County, Wisconsin, Bayfield, Price County, Wisconsin, Price, and Iron County, Wisconsin, Iron counties, along with southeast Douglas County, Wisconsin, Douglas County and parts of northern Sawyer County, Wisconsin, Sawyer County. Tavern League Of Wisconsin
The Tavern League of Wisconsin (TLW) is a trade association of alcoholic beverage retailers in the state of Wisconsin. The League was created in 1935, two years after the end of Prohibition, and today has 5,000 members. The League is headquartered in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. The TLW lobbies for member interests at the state and federal level, and supports members in complying with legal issues facing their businesses. Issues include opposition to increases in alcohol and cigarette taxes and licensing laws seen as onerous, and opposition to restrictions on gambling machines. The TLW supports programs that aim to combat drunk driving by providing rides to and from bars. At the same time, the TLW has condemned campaigns against binge drinking in Wisconsin as an attempt to "demonize" people who drink casually to relax. The Wisconsin State Assembly elections of 2022 were held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. All 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly were up for election. This was the first election to take place after redistricting following the 2020 United States census. Wisconsin Elections Commission
The Wisconsin Elections Commission is a bipartisan regulatory agency of the State of Wisconsin established to administer and enforce election laws in the state. The Wisconsin Elections Commission was established by a 2015 act of the Wisconsin Legislature which also established the Wisconsin Ethics Commission to administer campaign finance, ethics, and lobbying laws. The two commissions began operation on June 30, 2016, replacing the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (GAB), which was abolished. WJFW-TV (channel 12) is an television station licensed to Rhinelander, Wisconsin, United States, serving the Wausau area as an affiliate of NBC. Owned by Rockfleet Broadcasting, the station maintains studios on County Road G (along WIS 17) in Rhinelander, and its transmitter is located in Starks, Wisconsin. Cable is a town in Bayfield County, Wisconsin, United States. Its population was 825 at the 2010 U.S. census. The census-designated place of Cable and the unincorporated communities of Leonards and Radspur are located in the town.
