CKRN-DT (branded on-air as Radio-Canada Télévision CKRN) was a privately owned Ici Radio-Canada Télé- affiliated television station licensed to Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada, which essentially functioned as a semi-satellite of Montreal Radio-Canada flagship station CBFT-DT due to not having alternative non-network sources of programming available. It broadcast a digital signal on VHF channel 9 (or virtual channel 4.1 via PSIP) from a transmitter near Chemin Powell (north of Route 101) in Rouyn-Noranda. Formerly owned by RNC Media, it was a sister station to TVA outlet CFEM-DT and Val-d'Or V (now Noovo) outlet CFVS-DT, and all three shared studios located on Avenue Murdoch and Avenue de la Saint Anne in Rouyn-Noranda. CKLT-DT (channel 9) is a television station in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, part of the CTV Television Network. Owned and operated by network parent Bell Media, the station has studios on Brunswick Square in Saint John, and its transmitter is located near Whitaker Lake in Petersville. It also operates analogue rebroadcast transmitters in Woodstock and Boiestown. CKLT-DT is part of the CTV Atlantic regional system in The Maritimes. Although separately licensed, the station (along with its two rebroadcasters) is considered a full-time satellite of CKCW-DT in Moncton. Master control and most internal operations are based at CKCW's studios on Halifax and George Streets in Moncton. CITO-TV ( analogue channel 3) is a television station in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, part of the CTV Television Network. Owned and operated by network parent Bell Media, the station has studios on Pine Street North (near Hendry Avenue) in Timmins, and its transmitter is located near Highway 101 (just west of Connaught Road). It also operates rebroadcasters in Kapuskasing (channel 10), Kirkland Lake (channel 11, also serving Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec), Hearst (channel 4) and Chapleau (channel 9). CITO-TV is part of the CTV Northern Ontario sub-system. CIPA-TV ( analogue channel 9) is a television station in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada, part of the CTV Television Network. Owned and operated by network parent Bell Media, it is a semi-satellite of CFQC-DT in Saskatoon. CIPA-TV's studios are located on 10 Street West (near the North Saskatchewan River) in Downtown Prince Albert, and its transmitter is located between Louis Reil Trail/ Highway 11 and Highway 2, south-southwest of the city. The station operates rebroadcast transmitters in Alticane, Big River, Melfort and Nipawin. History CIPA began transmission on January 12, 1987. In 2002, CTV parent company Bell Globemedia (now Bell Media) sold CIPA's former CBC- affiliated twinstick sister station, CKBI-TV, to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, which then made CKBI a rebroadcaster of CBKST in Saskatoon.
