XEIMT-TDT
XEIMT-TDT, known as Canal 22, is a television station located in Mexico City. Broadcasting on channel 22, XEIMT is owned by Televisión Metropolitana, S.A. de C.V., and operated by the Secretariat of Culture. It is one of Mexico's principal public television stations, with a format emphasizing cultural programming. Canal 22 is carried on all Mexican cable systems, on 25 SPR transmitters outside Mexico City, and as an international feed on some cable systems and DirecTV Stream in the United States. History Channel 22, Mexico City's first UHF station, signed on April 15, 1982, as XHTRM-TV, the principal station of Televisión de la República Mexicana (TRM). It was the first new television station in Mexico City since 1968, when channels 8 ( XHTM, operated by Televisión Independiente de México) and 13 (XHDF-TV, which was nationalized in 1972) went on the air. CIII-DT (channel 41) is a television station in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, serving as the flagship station of the Global Television Network. Owned and operated by network parent Corus Entertainment, CIII-DT maintains studios at 81 Barber Greene Road (near Leslie Street) in the Don Mills district of Toronto, and its transmitter is located atop the CN Tower in downtown Toronto. The station reaches much of the population of Ontario through a network of 12 transmitters across primarily the southern and central portions of the province (as a result, it is the ''de facto'' Global outlet for the capital city of Ottawa through repeater CIII-DT-6). "Twenty Two" is episode 53 of the American television series ''The Twilight Zone.'' The story was adapted by Rod Serling from a short anecdote in the 1944 Bennett Cerf Random House anthology ''Famous Ghost Stories'', which itself was an adaptation of "The Bus-Conductor", a short story by E. F. Benson published in ''The Pall Mall Magazine'' in 1906. It was one of the six episodes of the second season which was shot on videotape in a short-lived experiment aimed to cut costs, and was directed by Jack Smight.
