The Changwon Stadium ( ko, 창원종합운동장) is a group of sports facilities in Changwon, South Korea. The complex consists of the Changwon Stadium, Changwon Gymnasium and a swimming pool. 2007 U-17 World Cup
The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2007, the twelfth edition of the tournament, was held in South Korea between 18 August and 9 September 2007. For this event, the number of teams had been expanded from 16 to 24, with the top two of each group and the four best third-place teams advancing to the Round of 16. The Korean Basketball League (KBL; ) is a professional men's basketball league in South Korea which was established in 1997. Changwon LG Sakers
Changwon LG Sakers are a basketball team located in the city of Changwon in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. They play in the Korean Basketball League, and their home arena is Changwon Gymnasium which has a capacity for approximately 6,000 people. The team's main sponsor is LG Electronics which has its offices in Changwon. The professional team was established in 1997 and was named Gyeongnam LG Sakers. The name was changed to the Changwon LG Sakers after the first season. LG Sakers has yet to win a KBL championship. The closest they came was in the 2000–01 season, when they finished as runners-up, losing to Suwon Samsung Thunders in the finals. The Korea National League was a South Korean semi-professional football league held annually from 2003 to 2019. It was considered the second-highest division of the South Korean football league system before the K League 2 was launched in 2013, and the third-highest division since then.
