Changfeng Park
Changfeng Park (; ; literally: Park of Far Off Wind) is a landscaped park in the west of Shanghai, China. The size of the park is 364,000 square meters. It features an artificial lake, Yinchu Lake, and an artificial hill, Tiebi Hill. There are various facilities including a Sea Life aquarium and boating on the lake. Location The park is located in the Putuo District. To the east is East China Normal University. History The first phase of constructing the park started on 4 April 1957 and the second phase started in July 1958. The park was opened on Chinese National Day (1 October) in 1959. Initially the park was called Huxi Park ("Western Shanghai Park") and then Biluohu Park ("Green Usnea Lake Park") when it was partly opened on 1 July 1958. On 29 September 1959, the deputy secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, Wei Wenbo, changed its name to Changfeng Park ("Park of Far Off Wind"). Beluga Whale
The beluga whale () (''Delphinapterus leucas'') is an Arctic and sub-Arctic cetacean. It is one of two members of the family Monodontidae, along with the narwhal, and the only member of the genus ''Delphinapterus''. It is also known as the white whale, as it is the only cetacean to regularly occur with this colour; the sea canary, due to its high-pitched calls; and the melonhead, though that more commonly refers to the melon-headed whale, which is an oceanic dolphin. The beluga is adapted to life in the Arctic, with anatomical and physiological characteristics that differentiate it from other cetaceans. Amongst these are its all-white colour and the absence of a dorsal fin, which allows it to swim under ice with ease. Zhongshan Park (Shanghai)
Zhongshan Park (), formerly called Jessfield Park and Zhaofeng Park (), is a park in Changning District, Shanghai, China. The park has a large collection of trees and flowers. People fly kites and play sport games on the large meadow areas. Location The park is located centrally in the Changning District. To the north is Suzhou Creek and the East China University of Politics and Law. There is a large shopping mall with a tall skyscraper above, Cloud Nine, southwest of the park. History Zhongshan Park was established in 1914 by the Shanghai Municipal Council as Jessfield Park (極司非爾花園), after Jessfield Road (now Wanhangdu Road) which led to the park. Global Harbor
Global Harbor () is a large shopping mall in Shanghai, China. It opened on 5 July 2013. The mall is located at 3300 North Zhongshan Road, near Jinshajiang Road, in the Putuo District of Shanghai. It is attached to Jinshajiang Road Station (on Shanghai Metro Line 3, Line 4, and Line 13) via an underground entrance. It has a floor area of 480,000 square meters. The shops are located on six levels (two of them basement levels), with an underground parking level below. Twin skyscrapers rise above the mall, which can be seen through the glass roof. In the evening they are lit with computer-controlled animated multi-coloured lighting on the surface of the outer walls. Jinshajiang Road Station
Jinshajiang Road () is an interchange station on Lines 3, 4, and 13 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located in Putuo District, Shanghai and is one of the stations where Lines 3 and 4 share tracks. The station opened on 26 December 2000 as part of the initial section of Line 3 from to , and Line 4 service began here on the final day of 2005. On 30 December 2012, the Line 13 portion of the Jinshajiang Road station began its test runs, providing service westbound towards . Although service did not include mobile or Wi-Fi signals, the metro did provide service from this station to five stations in Jiading District, including Line 13's initial northern terminus, . Shanghai Metro Line 4
Line 4 is a loop line of the Shanghai Metro network. Its older rolling stock carry a bright purple colour belt to differentiate them from Line 3 trains which share a portion of its route, while the newer stock features a yellow and purple livery, which the exact line is labelled using sticker or screens saying “Line 3” or “Line 4”.
